Use it or Lose it

Lately, I have been feeling the urge to declutter. There's too much stuff in my house and way too much in my scrap space.  It's definitely a problem when you love every sheet of paper you touch, every flair badge you see, every wood veneer available...you get the idea.   It's a lot overwhelming.

In an effort to bring things under control, I've decided to make a new rule for my old stuff: Use it or Lose it.  I'm going to The Paperie's Fall Retreat in a few weeks so it's the perfect time to sort through and purge.  Anything that stays has a one year to find a project or it needs to move on to a new home. I'm sure there will be plenty of loop holes and exceptions but every little bit helps when it comes to decluttering.

So, I'm starting with my favorite things - the ones I've been hoarding.  Like this paper from last year's Splash collection by Echo Park.

A great way to use old product is to mix it in with new. And here the new stuff is SC wood veneer birdies, the washi tape and SC Mistable sun and clouds.  These are some of my favourites and when I put it all together I have a layout that makes me happy and less stash in my space. And that is a win-win situation, friends.
