My December Daily...in January...Part 1

Hello friends!

I am back again after a lovely Christmas and I am delighted to share the first half of my December Daily. I shared my foundation pages way back in early December.  And I had every intention of keeping up it with and even sharing my pages during the month.

Of course, that didn't happen because December is busy. What was I thinking?!

However,  I did finish my December Daily last week and I'm pretty happy about it. So, today I'm sharing the first half of my album. You can click on any of the pictures to get a larger image.

Here's my cover page.

On December 1st, we decorated our tree. And yes, that's a plushie on the top of our tree - a Super Mario Luma, to be exact.

And December 2 and 3.

December 4 and 5.

December 6 and 7. I love the Allison Kreft overlays. I'm trying not to hoard them but it's hard because they're gorgeous!

And here's the back of the overlay.

I adhered a piece of 3x4 patterned paper to the back and wrote my journaling on it. A simple way to get my journaling on the page without the risk of ruining my overlay.

I also love my solution for December 8. I didn't have any pictures from the day so I stamped the date on a card on my desk and journaled on the back.

On December 9, I went to my LSS, The Paperie, for their annual member's Christmas Party. I used their Christmas Card and invite as an insert for the day. It's lovely, isn't it?

On December 10, we went to Gabriel's school Christmas Concert. We took way too many photos that I can't share. However, I can share these photos of Ben. I gave him my iPhone to keep him occupied during the show. Here's how his pictures turned out.

And here's the backside...

We also had a lot of snow that day so I included a pic of the boys out playing in the snow.

December 11 and 12.

A little story about Ben and how hard it is to wait for Christmas when you're 2. I caught him raiding our advent calendar. He just didn't get the concept of counting down or delayed gratification.

The other side of the page is a card he made for me using some foam stickers and green cardstock. Green became his favorite color during December so he made green cards for all the family.

And here's the other side. He can't write his name yet so I used some Thickers to help me remember the significance of this card.

I'll share the rest of my December Daily this week, so please stop by and have a look. If you have any questions about products or techniques I used, please put a note in the comments and I'll get back to you.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cathie
