I am very excited to start Week in the Life (WITL) today. I love this project and I'm really excited that it's happening during the week of Halloween. I love Halloween and so does Ben so this is going to be fun.
Today, I'm sharing my Week in the Life supplies.

This year, I am using the the 4x4 Instagram Mini Album from We R Memory Keepers. I used a gold one for my Summer Mini Album. I love how it turned out. This is a smaller album than I usually use but I want to change things up this year - change is good.

I'm using the grey one this time for something a little different. Usually I use red for WITL but this album size doesn't come in red. I have noticed that it's easier to pick papers with a neutral color album.
I'm going to journal on my favorite Project Life cards.

And add these new wood veneers everywhere.

They are simply perfect for a Halloween themed Week in the Life. I also added some Halloween paper to the mix. I have some 12x12 sheets...

and a 6x6 paper pad from Authentique's Spirited collection.

I gathered a few things from my stash that I thought would go with these supplies, like the 6x6 paper pad from Kelly Purkey's Second City collection.

I just love this sheet...

and this one for Halloween pages.

I also plan to use some gold vellum from We R Memory Keepers Sheer Metallic line.

I've also added the 6x6 paper pad from Studio Calico's Print Shop line.

I just can't resist these papers.

The biggest thing I want to change about my approach to WITL this year is to have fun with it. I tend to take this project seriously because it takes planning and perseverance to see it through and then put it all together. I've done the planning and now I want to take silly pictures and include funny stories. I want to have fun and let the fun shine through.
We'll see how that goes.
If you're taking part in WITL - good luck and have fun! You can do this.
And if you're not, no worries. It's a great time to follow blogs and gather inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by!
