Hey, hey!
With any luck I am on my to The Paperie's Spring Retreat. It's kinda funny to call it a "spring" retreat because it's been snowing for a couple of days but today is whole lot of rain blech!
So, with sunshine on my mind, here's my page.
I love this page. The quote is from the Nana Mouskouri song, Turn on the Sun - maybe you know it? My parents had one of her albums and we used to listen to this song all the time when I was little. For some reason, when I made this page I couldn't get those lines out of my mind so I went with it.
I used Adirondack Color Wash and water to get the tone on tone effect. I love all the texture. Those dots came from my paper towel when I was blotting off excess water. Neat, huh?
Here's a close up.
Fingers crossed we get some actual sunshine here soon.
I hope you have a creative and sunny weekend!
