Art Journal Everyday

I made the blue background using a cheap pack of watercolours I bought at Winners.  I love the look of watercolour but whenever I start to learn something I go cheap.  So if it is not my thing I'm not stuck with oodles of supplies I won't use.

The flower stamp is one I carved as part of Julie's Stamp Carving 101 class.  I made the little sun by cutting circles free hand and layering them together.  The rays are a few scraps of jute twine I glued to bottom - easy peasy! And what page would be complete without a stencil? I used Julie's 6x6 clouds with some Ranger Pearl paint dabber. Finally, I sprayed some Perfect Pearls mist over the top to make it all shimmery and bright.

It might be grey outside but I can always make some sunshine in my art journal.
