Hello Friends!
I know it's been a while but I promise that I have been busy making art and trying new things that I am excited to share with you this year. Today, I'm sharing one of the pages that we'll be making in my Art Journal class next week. Each month, I get to share my passion for art journaling at my LSS, The Paperie. We hang out, chat and make art journal pages - it's a lot of fun.
This month, I'm sharing my love for the Prima Color Bloom sprays and the Art Basics line by Finnabair. These products are just so lovely and so wonderful to use. I can't get enough of them!
Here's a closeup...
I'm not much of a stamper but these Dina Wakley stamps are some of my favorites. I love to use them. These two are from Face in the Crowd and Scribbly Women.
I'm also inspired by layers of collage. I love how little bits and pieces catch your eye and draw you in.
Each month we make two pages and I'll be sharing sneak peeks of art journal page #2 on Twitter and Instagram. My handle is cathiereed for both Twitter and Instagram and if you follow me you get to see my latest projects in progress.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Love the textures and the layers behind the tags. Nice subtle colour scheme, too. It works so well with the tags.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tracy. You can never have too much texture or too many layers.
