I am sharing pics from my first day of Week in the Life 2014. I took about 75 photos yesterday. Most of them with my DSLR. The morning light in my living room isn't great in the morning so I made those pics black and white.

My computer and morning coffee. I love taking pictures of the technology in our lives. Technology is everywhere but components like game systems, computers and phones are always changing.
Board games are very popular around here.

Running errands with Gabriel after school. We had a lot of rain yesterday.
But we also had blue skies. This is the view from my front patio.
After supper, I went to Costco and snapped this shot from the parking lot. This area of town has seen so much development in the last 10 years. I wanted to capture what it looks like now.
I also took pictures of the things in our lives like..
the toys, and..
the never ending piles of laundry - and...
the clutter *sigh*.
Looking at these pictures, I realized I didn't get any pictures of me or Sam yesterday. I'm going to work on that for the rest of the week. I don't want to leave us out of an album about our lives.
If you're doing Week In the Life, I strongly recommend going through your photos at the end of each day. It is a great way to keep tabs on what you've captured and what you've missed.

love your pics, especially the one of Ben and his truck. Also like the one of the train table - it looks like ours! :) Do you take any of the same pics daily? For example, I always take one of myself in the mirror after I've dressed for the day and one of the kids going to and coming from school.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sara. I have taken daily photos in the past - usually coffee cups or meals. Might be a good way to make sure Sam and I are in the album. Thanks for the idea.
